Fashion blog Hard Liquor, Soft Holes reviewed the Jil Sander friends-and-family sale running through Saturday in Soho, and it sounds pretty amazing. Or, as the blog puts it, "JIL SANDER AT 85-90% OFF IS RETARDED." The menswear mostly comes from the 2009 and fall 2008 collections. Our blogger friend got a suit for $350; he also reports laser-cut suede jackets for $400, and he told us most men's sweaters were $50 to $200. The womenswear details are sketchier, but come with visual aids: "For ladies, i saw (in passing) fringe and tulle clouds. A pair of flat sandals were $38. Saw something close to these as well." While the sale is technically closed to the public, we hear it's not hard to enter as a civilian. It runs till 5:30pm today and tomorrow and until 3pm on Saturday at 8 Crosby Street.
