It's already bad enough that we can't walk by Dylan's Candy Bar on 3rd Avenue without stopping in for a scoopful of rainbow sour strips, but now Dylan Lauren?daughter of designer Ralph Lauren?has something truly world-class up her sleeves.
She's launched a series of $30 limited-edition assortments of candies from around the world, each packed in little suitcase-like boxes, and focusing on the most beloved treats of each country. There's Scandinavia, Australia, Japan, Western Europe, South Africa and?the newest addition?Candies of the U.S.A.
The suitcase packs in everything from west coast Abba Zabbas to Dulces Sultidos and Maui Caramc Bars to Kansas Valomilks. Apparently there's one candy that represents New York, but we guess you have to buy it find out (any candy historians want to tell us?). The candies are only on sale until Monday, April 26; pick us up a pack of the Japanese candies too, while you're at it.
