Journalist Lindsay Beyerstein randomly found herself on the guest list for Canada's Juno Awards alongside Taylor Swift, Michael Bublé and the Black-Eyed Peas. Without a personal stylist or a celebrity-sized budget, she was utterly at sea until the Gloss sent her on a tour of Astoria's thrift ships. Happy ending: Lindsay discovered a $25 gown, and her date (who was being honored at the awards show) wound up with an entire formal outfit for under $100. Clearly, we should be spending more time in Astoria. Click through for a video of the quest. [The Gloss]
