Uniqlo Works It with Costello Tagliapietra

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Refinery29 reports that Uniqlo is teaming up with local designers Costello Tagliapietra on a line of office-friendly dresses. Calling something "work-appropriate" is often the kiss of death in fashion (just ask Talbots or Ann Taylor, both of which are desperately trying to revamp themselves) but the CosTag/Uniqlo collection manages to be sophisticated rather than corporate. Ready for a sentence we never thought we'd type? Here goes: We're especially charmed by the waistless chartreuse number. Head over to Refinery for more photos.
