Barneys Co-op is taking the traditional trunk show and updating it for the younger and hipper set with the "Trunk-a-Palooza" event taking place next Wednesday, April 21st. As opposed to the usual ladies-who-lunch type deal, Trunk-a-Palooza will be more of a "party" instead (at least that's what Julie Gilhart called it). The event will feature ten simultaneously running trunk shows, including hot labels like 3.1 Phillip Lim, Rag & Bone, Alexander Wang, Richard Chai-LOVE, Vena Cava and more. A DJ will be spinning tunes and special appearances will be made by A. Wang himself, Lisa Mayock of Vena Cava and Marcus Wainwright and David Neville of Rag & Bone. Along with the opportunity to pre-order Fall items, there will be limited edition pieces available, too. The event runs from 2pm to 8pm at the Madison Avenue flagship.
