Spring is a very bipolar season, and we don't always mean that in terms of weather. Of course we're talking fashion, and spring can bring either a slow transition from the blacks of winter into neutrals, or it can go whole-hog when girls rip off the down jackets and don brightly-patterned, swingy dresses.
As Valentino takes care of the former for half of the windows at Saks Fifth Avenue, Oscar de la Renta firmly stands in the colorful court for the remaining windows. Even his single black dress gives over portions to a deep navy. The colors are so rich and the handiwork so detailed, you may find yourself staring at a single skirt for longer than you spend in all of Rockefeller Center across the street.
