The New York Daily News asks Brooklynites how they feel about the incoming Barney's Co-op. The answers are fairly predictable: A 37-year-old piano teacher is excited, but a 57-year-old musician thinks it's bad news. "It's just more of the Manhattanization of downtown," he told the paper. "When I think Barneys, I think of SoHo and Chelsea and all that pretension. That's one of the things I like about living in Brooklyn, it's not pretentious." [NYDN]
