Style blogger and jeweler Rackk and Ruin has a name we approve of and an Etsy store with some very cool jewelry. We're partial to her spiked headbands in leather, snakeskin, and braided horse hair. The headbands are completely handmade and make use of "up-cycled" materials like leather from old jackets. The braided horsehair comes from an old violin bow.
The headbands range in price from around $110 to $130, and she says the handmade aluminum base means they're comfortable and won't cause headaches. "The aluminum is flexible, yet sturdy, so you can customize the shape of the headband for your comfort. (I am usually unable to wear headbands because they tend to give me a headache, but I can wear these all day long)," she says.
