Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Jealousy is unbecoming, so we are happy to report (via Fashion Week Daily and WWD) that New York will soon get a Lanvin to rival the ones in Vegas and Miami. The French label will open its third American boutique in a 4,000-square-foot space at 815 Madison Avenue (between 68th and 69th Streets)—a location you might know from its stints as a Calypso and a Versace. The store, which will carry womenswear (sorry, boys), is scheduled to open in mid-June.
