WWD just confirmed that the Barneys Co-op will indeed open in brownstone Brooklyn. Back in December, we heard the store was shopping around for a location, possibly on Atlantic Avenue. Now, we've got an address: 194 Atlantic at the corner of Court.
If you know your Cobble Hill landmarks, you know that places the Barneys co-op just next door to Trader Joe's, officially making that block of Atlantic a retail powerhouse. The store will open in September, meaning Brooklynites have to wait at least another five months before they can pick up some Alexander Wang and Amy's Burritos all in one trip.
