Self-proclaimed Wonder Woman fan Diane von Furstenberg just announced that she will be celebrating International Women's Day with a month-long series of events and promotions that will kick off next Monday, March 8, with a party at her New York flagship to celebrate the release of her new compilation album. FWD is reporting that the party will include a live performance by Estelle and a graffiti wall by artist Panmela Castro-Anarkia.
DVF's "Proud to be Woman" album will benefit Vital Voices, an organization devoted to the empowerment of women and will feature appearances by Joss Stone, Mary J. Blige and Estelle. Starting on March 8 it will be sold in DVF boutiques, on the DVF website, but it's up on iTunes right now.
