Prom season is upon us and Lord & Taylor is there to make that high school rite of passage as fashionable as possible. The windows along the south side of their facade are all hot pink walls, hot pink neon tiaras, and poofy (yet tasteful) party dresses in—you guessed it—hot pink. The centerpiece: Cursive neon lettering spelling out the two words that haunt the dreams of senior girls everywhere, "Prom Queen."
This Saturday, everyone can feel like a prom queen. The store is hosting a prom event celebrating their new line of limited edition prom dresses designed by Parsons alumni. Expect fashion shows, music, beauty advice, contests, giveaways, free alterations, and, most importantly, a chance to look "Rockin' Retro" or "Gossip Girl Gorgeous." It's all happening tomorrow at 1pm.
