It might be a good idea to skip today's Issey Miyake sale, according to Sample Sally: "It appears that sale organizers didn’t have enough merchandise to fill the large space on the fourth floor. On offer are women’s and men’s clothing for 80 percent the retail price. The selection of piece and sizes were spotty. I found Pleats Please dresses and skirts for about $250. There were blouses for under $100. Knit pieces were just over $100. And some accessories, including belts, socks and scarves were under $100." At right, that's the nearly-empty sale room at the Metropolitan Pavilion. [Sample Sally; Dealfeed]
