No Line, but Also No Menswear, at Target's Liberty Pop-Up

New, 6 comments

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

It's time for Liberty at Lunch, a feature we just invented in which an informant who works high above Sixth Avenue and 42nd Street sticks her head out the window to report on the state of the line outside the Liberty for Target pop-up. (This is the blog equivalent of a weather helicopter, obvs.) Today's update: "No line. I just spotted a biddy in a trench coat mosey in with no problem." Yes!

Do note, though, that although the shop will be restocked sporadically throughout the next few days, right now it's running low on some vitals. Twitterer @toomanyronis, whose Twitter background suggests that she is really devoted to sweet prints, sent us this missive earlier this morning: "went back to #libertyoflondon today, no more menswear, no more trenches or fitted dresses, no more teapots or gardening tools. :-(" :-( indeed.
