Lucite, taxidermy, and a bit of artfully contrived fabulousness are so hot right now, and so is Alexis Bittar, where critical shopper Cintra Wilson stops in this week. Joan Collins is the face of the Bittar campaign this year, and after her breakout turn as the half-kitsch, all-fun star of New York Fashion Week, we kind of want to be exactly like her. That's good news for us, because this stuff is pretty reasonably priced. Most of the pendant necklaces on gold chains are between $155 and $200. [NYT]
