Artist Brian Garret made these headphones for a senior thesis project, but they were so cool that Freedom of Creation picked them up for manufacture, which means people could actually buy them. If you're not a particular fan of The Chemical Brothers, rest easy in the knowledge that these headphones are customizable, so you can have the headband part carved with the names of songs or performers you do like.
According to the online shop, "The customer supplies a list of his favorite artists, band names and tracks to Freedom Of Creation (FOC). Based on this information the designers at FOC start customizing the design of your personal Street Headphones. A few weeks later you receive your fully customized one of a kind 3D printed headphone." The custom design doesn't come cheap, though. These sell for € 837.82, or about $1,140.60.
