Liberty Line Update

New, 4 comments

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Target has moved the line for its Bryant Park Liberty pop-up around the corner so that it now snakes down 42nd Street. Based on a photo that just arrived in our inbox, the scene is still a madhouse, but the wait doesn't sound terrible. A high-level Racked informant who's currently in line tells us that guards are promising she'll be inside the store in half an hour. (Twitter, by the way, is almost useless for checking up on the line—when you search "Liberty," you mostly get people ranting about Obama and/or the Teabaggers.) [RackedWire]
