Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Today's Street Scenes subject is Colette, shot on Washington Street between Little W. 12th and 13th Streets. Feel free to vote on whether you like or dislike her outfit below. Your choices are 'Perfection!,' 'So close,' 'I feel strangely ambivalent about it,' or 'Who did this to you?'

Colette's skirt, hat, and belt are from Destination, and her pants, boots, coat and bag are vintage. Her favorite stores are Angel Thrift Shop and Housing Works. She is an artist who currently has an exhibition in the back of Destination. Her work has also appeared at the Brooklyn Museum and the Guggenheim; you can check it out here.
