Two crucial Uniqlo updates, both courtesy the Shophound: 1) We're about to get another shipment of +J spring stock, and 2) The lineup for Uniqlo's annual Designers Invitation collection has been announced.
First things first: The second shipment of Jil Sander's +J collection arrives at Uniqlo at 8am Thursday morning. This is the final round for menswear, but the ladies should get a third installment sometime in April. Unless you're looking for a very specific item, you can probably get away with skipping the opening day line—Uniqlo is very conscientious about restocking, but certain highlights (like the gray trench) disappeared quickly last time.
You'll remember the Designers Invitation collection from last year, when Uniqlo collaborated with Opening Ceremony, Steven Alan, Shipley & Halmos and Gilded Age. This time around, the brand is working with Japanese labels including zechia, Han Ahn Soon, suzuki takayuki, G.V.G.V., mintdesigns, mother and fur fur. So far, there's no word about whether these designs will come to the Soho store, but we'll let you know as soon as we find out either way.
