Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
HERALD SQUARE—The new Duane Reade at 34th Street thinks it's a Sephora, and we're totally OK with that. Fashion Herald checked out the store and found racks of OPI and Essie nail polish, high-quality beauty tools, and a surprisingly expensive eyebrow bar. There's also a full library of Demeter scents ranging from Dirt to Play-Doh, with many less freaky, more wearable fragrances in between. [Fashion Herald]
WILLIAMSBURG—Artist and Fleas stalwart Brooklyn Charm is set to launch a stand-alone shop on March 26. Look for them at 145 Bedford Avenue at N. 9th Street. [Launchstalker]
