Thirteen-year-old style blogger Tavi finally responds to all the controversy about her role in the fashion world, and she couldn't have done it in a classier way. She quotes Bob Dylan and Roger Ebert. She wonders why none of the people wringing their hands over her truancy ever talk about how models and teen athletes miss tons of school. She carefully spells out the Catch-22 facing bloggers as they attempt to maintain some kind of outsider status without being reflexively negative. And she wraps things up beautifully: "I'm going to New York on Saturday. I will be wearing some more hats. If you happen to be sitting behind me and you'd like to be able to see, just ask."
