Just in time for Bebe's collaboration with the Kardashian sisters to hit the Bryant Park runway, the incoming Bebe store on Broadway in Soho has debuted a new look. Out front, there's shiny new signage; inside, we managed a glimpse of some chandeliers. Swanky! Especially compared with the building's previous commercial tenant, a Staples.
According to Curbed, the finished renovation will open up a second floor to retail, returning the historic Haughwout Building to its original state. In the 1800s, Mary Todd Lincoln shopped there, but somehow we don't see Michelle Obama following in her footsteps.
