Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

You generally know you're standing outside the Epic Hollister store in Soho because a) the air smells like bro and b) there's a blond 20-year-old with a square jaw greeting you like you're his roommate. And if you miss those subtle signs, there's always the building-sized mural on Houston Street to clue you in. But just so there's absolutely no confusion, Hollister is adding a nameplate above its door. Bowery Boogie captured a shot of a workman stenciling in the signage in this morning's slush. Note the yellow slicker—we really feel for that guy.
