LOWER EAST SIDE—Jewelry that looks like weaponry has been hot for a while now, but the folks behind b-side and BYLU are taking things a step further by actually making accessories out of gun parts. And this isn't just empty symbolism: For every piece sold, they'll donate to New York's gun buy-back program, which offers $200 bank cards to anyone willing to give up a gun to the NYPD. Next Thursday, the designers are holding a combination fundraiser/line launch at Stay at 244 E. Houston. Tickets are $20 in advance (buy them here) or $40 at the door. [Ken and Dana Design]
