You always know it's nearing spring when the window displays around town start loading up on bright colors and cute prints instead of textures and drama. Well, we're ready for winter to be over, and so is Bloomingdale's, which has filled its windows with poppy dresses that have a distinctly carefree, 1970's vibe.
Splashed over the display is a bright pinky-orange headline: "Designers who make us smile." The designers who make Bloomingdale's smile at the moment include Halston, Matthew Williamson, Diane von Furstenberg, Rachel Roy, Emmanuel Ungaro, Brian Reyes, Alice & Olivia, Marc Jacobs, and Rebecca Taylor.
