UPPER WEST SIDE—808 Columbus, the development at Columbus Avenue and 100th Street, is getting a Sephora to go with its Whole Foods. This isn't the Upper West Side's first Sephora—there's one at 76th and Broadway—but we bet Columbia kids are happy about it. [RackedWire]
HERALD SQUARE—Today's Macy's blaze was an electrical fire, reports the New York Post, and it was out by 1pm. Also: "The retail area was not affected, but shoppers on the Seventh Avenue side were asked to evacuate because the power was shut down, according to Macy’s spokeswoman Elina Kazan. There were no reported injuries." We guess this means our Twitter friend succeeded in sneaking in after all. [NYP; Previously]
