Sonia Rykiel Present but Picked Over at 59th St. H&M

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

The H&M store at 59th and Lexington was full of the Sonia Rykiel collaboration last night, but when we stopped by this afternoon we initially thought we'd hallucinated the whole thing. Even the window display was gone. We eventually found the collection's remains in the back, under the escalator on the ground floor, and though it was significantly smaller, there are still some choice pieces available.

The multicolored, striped dress and hot pink trapeze sundress are still on the racks in sizes from extra small to large, as is the knit sundress with tiers of pink ruffles. If you're looking for the hot pink shorts or the hot pink knit vest, you're in luck. The black jumpsuit and one-shouldered mini dress are similarly plentiful, and we spied a small number of the knit black trapeze sundress, but it was in short supply.

The yellow striped cami and shorts sets were on the racks along with striped knit tank tops, but there were only two long-sleeved sweaters remaining: The hot pink one with rhinestones at the chest in a size small, and a medium yellow striped sweater with a black chest bow, though that one was being hovered over by several shoppers.

For accessories, the berets are still there in yellow and hot pink, and there are plenty of No one seems to have touched the shoes.
