Look out YSL, Christian Dior is the latest iconic designer set to be immortalized by way of a musical. PAPER magazine recently spoke with Malcolm McLaren, the cultural savant behind the Sex Pistols and punk, about the state of his Dior musical, which was first announced back in 2008. "This project has stayed in my heart for a long time. And as I struggle with it, and will it into production, I believe it will emerge triumphant," he says. Meanwhile, Alain Chamfort's musical based on YSL's life is slated to debut before the end of the year. [PAPER]
