Progress is being made at Reed Krakoff's not-yet-opened flagship on Madison Avenue. While plans for the store, which will house the premiere namesake collection from Coach's revered creative director, were announced late last year. Now comes proper plywood advertising that a debut date has been set for Fall 2010. The shop, situated on Madison between 69th and 70th, will open in the former Miu Miu space. As for what to expect design wise? Take a gander at Krakoff's New York Fashion Week FW10 show that was chock-full of sleek leather outwear, over-sized knits (both sheer and fur accented) as well as suede skirts and very roomy trousers. Think Coach's classic American designs, although less traditional and a bit more luxe.
