While she might not always know what to think of Rodarte, Lynn Yaeger has come down hard on 3.1 Phillip Lim's front-row-only gift bags at Fashion Week. Calling the practice, "one of the most offensive and ridiculous traditions of Fashion Week," she points out that the people in the front row already get more random bags of free crap than they know what to do with. Instead, she says, it would be "far better to have left those sacks on the seats in the last row, where a present really means something." It might be an interesting gamble. Some of the standees could be front-row in a few years, maybe it's a good idea to build good will while it can still be had for a shiny bag and a tube of lip gloss. [The Cut]
