While running errands on the Upper West Side today, we noticed a curious trend. Multiple dry cleaners in the area are advertising Uggs laundering services and posting the signs in their windows. First it was the inexplicable lines outside the Columbus Avenue store in December; now the trend has advanced into specialized cleaning services. We stopped in to inquire with 67 French Cleaners on 67th and Amsterdam and the pricing runs between $40 for the low boot to $50 for the tall style. You have to applaud this industrious and entrepreneurial spirit, even if it basically means that Uggs aren't going anywhere anytime soon.
