CHELSEA—Our menswear-obsessed compatriot the Choosy Beggar reports that Barneys Warehouse Sale markdowns will probably begin by the end of the week. Actually, his intel is a little fuzzy: "One clerk said to expect additional markdowns by the end of the week. Another said not to expect any until next week. We trust the former, but we'll keep you posted." The markdowns better be good—the consensus seems to be that this year's sale is rather disappointing. [TCB; Racked]
NOHO—The Jodi Arnold sale that begins tomorrow at 2 Great Jones Street is rife with all sorts of perks. Tomorrow, spend $300 and get a $100 gift certificate to the Jodi Arnold store on University Place. Thursday, students get 15% off with ID, artists can bring a sample of their work for consideration for the rotating exhibit at the store, and everyone gets treats and live music from 5:30 to 7:30om. Friday, the $100 gift certificate returns along with free champagne from 5pm to 7pm and the chance to win a spa treatment. Saturday (still with us?) you can meet Jodi herself between 2pm and 4pm, plus if you bring your receipt from purchases made earlier in the week, you'll get 20% off pre-spring merch. And Sunday, teachers get 15% off the lowest marked price on everything. [Dealfeed; Racked Inbox]
