What made beloved local institution Village Paper burn down on Wednesday morning? One neighborhood resident explained her theory to Jeremiah's Vanishing New York: "The firefighters—they set it. They just happened to be here at 7:00 in the morning? Yeah, right. They were up on the roof, setting the fire. They threw a bomb down a pipe or something. The firefighters did it. They're Nazis.
