Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
BRYANT PARK—Our brand-new sister site Racked National has jumped on the child blogger trend, enlisting a precocious five-year-old named Katie to comment on the shows. Read all about her adventures at Michael Angel (she met Bryanboy; they discussed purses) right this way. [Racked National]
WILLIAMSBURG—Modish, the Havemeyer Street outpost for all things urban hipster/hip-hop skater, suddenly closed its doors earlier this week. There's no farewell note on the window—just several For Rent signs—nor is there any information on their website. A sad day: One less place in Williamsburg to buy Wesc and Pegleg NYC, and one more vacant space on the southside that will likely reopen as another horrible closeout shop.—Frank Gargione [RackedWire]
