Yesterday's driving snow during media check-in
Snowboots and sunglasses. We're predicting those will be the hot accessories donned by editors and celebrities at the Bryant Park tents today for the first official shows of New York Fashion Week.
And ominously, this final Fashion Week at Bryant Park?before it moves to Lincoln Center next season?is being held in tents with a black facade. Each season, the theme changes and we've had some fun ones recently, like political campaigns and travel, but this time the theme is notable quotes and Fashion Week past. It's slightly reminiscent of a funeral in this way, and printing a huge "So Long, Bryant Park" right next to the doorway isn't exactly perking up spirits on days that are already blustery and grey.
But the sun is out now, a stark contrast to this picture we snapped yesterday evening, and let us hope that it starts into the melting business soon.
