Belated Holidays at the Barneys Home Warehouse Sale

After the line, women's shoes and womenswear, our last stop at the Barneys Warehouse Sale was the oft neglected home section. Hidden in the Chelsea Passageway, near Men's, this is where shoppers can stock up on fancy dinner ware, coffee table books, stationery, home accessories and this time around, cheap holiday decor.

Savvy home decorators should make a stop here to check out Reidel stemmed wine glasses for $27 each (from $42.50), martini glasses $27 (from $35) and Kim Seybert yellow tinted sturdy champagne flutes for $37 each (from $138). The dishware is a mish mash of mismatched or totally missing cups and saucers, but there are enough from the Barney's Portugal collection to create a full dish set. Items range from $8 (from $28) for a big coffee mug to $11 (from $38) for the dinner plates. There are also place mats starting at $8 for woven to $41 for decorated glass ones. The random selection of pillows are a bit more of an investment starting at $150 for the pastel leather square ones.

We know it's not super PC or necessary in the least, but we did stop to look at the python covered stationery sets starting at $92 for the notepad. Another fun item of note is the set of chandelier wall decals for $6.25 down from $25. The shelf of random coffee table books are an ode to fashion and Barney's, featuring Patrick Demarchelier, Eccentric Glamour by Simon Doonan and Karim Space. Finally, if you're one of those frugalistas that likes to save and purchase Holiday items for dirt cheap at the first of the year, this is the place for you. Fancy Christmas ornaments, santas, snowmen, cute sparkly hazlenuts start at $6 each and stockings start at $11.
