Adorable New Children's Department Arrives at Bergdorf

Yesterday, Bergdorf Goodman opened the doors on its new, 12,000-square-foot children's department, Little BG, which lives on the seventh floor and stocks clothes by brands like Little Marc Jacobs, Junior Gaultier and Baby Dior. Silver spoons are in housewares.

Little BG has a particularly good selection for newborns, including "hand-embroidered footies and playsuits made from soft Pima cotton, Italian-made cashmere booties, onesies and receiving blankets, and Moses baskets and gift sets." With Loro Piana sweaters selling for $725, it sounds pretty pricey for kids' clothes, though we'd also bet money that there will be a couple adult women up their trying to wedge themselves into boys' blazers.
