Introducing Racked National

New, 2 comments

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

It's finally happened. Our obsession with shopping has grown so large, so all-consuming, that it's overrun the city limits of New York (not to mention Los Angeles) and become as big as the country. Ladies and gentlemen, we'd like you meet Racked National.

Evolving from our roots in local shopping, Racked National aims to make online window shopping as much fun as a stroll down Madison Avenue. Obsessive daily curation of the very best online sales? Check. Special web-only deals for readers? Oh yes. Plus National will unabashedly drool over sexy stuff (and people), recount in vivid detail all the stupid things fashion types do in our presence, report the latest in retail news, and suggest about a million ways to spend your money every day. If it's a place that will take your money, Racked National is here to tell you about it—and get you talking about it.

So what does this mean for Racked NY? Don't worry, we'll still be here to bring you the best in neighborhood-level shopping coverage. Expect more sale reports, more street-level store news, and more about the shopping ecosystem of our fair city—although we might have to cut back on the pictures of crazy pants. Do note that Racked NY now resides at a sexy new address, ny.racked.com, and that our Twitter has switched over to @rackedny. (If you're already a follower, you should have been switched automatically.) Then get yourself over to Racked National: The wide world of national shopping news awaits.
