Well, here's another line of things you'll probably end up drooling all over at Opening Ceremony—Pendleton is launching a contemporary line for both men and women. Deemed "more progressive in fashion" with a trimmer fit "for a younger customer," Pendleton, The Portland Collection, will be previewed here in New York next month and available for the fall '11 season. Not to worry—archival pieces and Pendleton's traditional fabrics are the jumping off point; and three young, Portland-area designers are at the helm (Nathaniel Crissman and Rachel Turk of Church & State as well as Decemberists costumer and founder of A Broken Spoke John Blasioli).
