By the time Winter 2010/2011 comes to a close and the snow melts into spring rains, Bleecker Street will be ready to don a new Burberry trench coat and tote a nova check umbrella up and down the street. The Brit brand has its plywood up over the once beloved shop Les Pierre Antiques, formerly Pierre Deux, a purveyor of charmingly French country kitsch.
There's no official opening date as of yet, but it's pretty safe to say that when Burberry on Bleecker does bow, there'll be special-edition items to ring in spring 2011.
