In order to make those lucrative post-Christmas sales happen, stores had to drag their snow shovels and salt bags out of storage and literally clear the way for shoppers who don't let a couple feet of snow keep them from Christian Louboutin, Lanvin and the like.
Bergdorf Goodman originally planned to open a tad late at 11am, but with sales associates (and customers) stuck making their way in at a snail's pace, the doors weren't able to open until the stroke of noon. But when they did...all hell broke loose with up to 60% off deals in the shoe department.
NYC-based designer and all-around cutie Chris Benz began his Bergdorfs spree by tweeting the above snowy picture of the store, from on high at The Pierre Hotel. Note the crowds still come out in this weather to gaze at the holiday windows.
