Sounds like Times Square just couldn't wait until New Year's Eve to start dropping things from the sky. @NotifyNYC reports that Broadway from W. 41st to W. 42nd is closed to traffic "due to falling debris, while W. 42nd from Sixth to Seventh Avenue is closed to pedestrians. According to a Twitter rumor dug up by Curbed, a falling piece of a Target billboard caused the closings. [Curbed NY; Twitter]
