Five years ago, New York magazine editors assembled 27 up-and-coming New Yorkers who they thought would be famous by 2010. The list included a number of fashion people—not exactly a safe bet, given fashion's fickle attention span. But here's the exciting thing: All of them have found success in the industry. Lulu Frost designer Lisa Salzer just launched a collab with J.Crew (right), Bliss Lau's jewelry is all over the place, Patrik Rzepski is consulting for a major French fashion house, and photographer Ryan Michael Kelly has shot for Men's Vogue and Vogue Nippon.
