Zachary's Smile, the vintage-and-more shop known for its boot selection and continually amazing attic sales, is leaving Lafayette Street. The shop informed customers in an emoticon-filled mail blast that reads, in part:
Zachary's Smile is closing the Noho location :(
It's OK life goes on :)Thanks to subway construction, it's been a rough couple of years for all the stores on the block of Lafayette between Bleecker and Houston. Zachary's Smile does have another location at 9 Greenwich Avenue in the West Village, so we're not losing it entirely. And as always, fans can take bittersweet consolation in the closing sale. Until the Noho boutique shuts down for good, everything in stock is 50% to 80% off.
