The bad news: Milk & Cookies Bakery has moved out of the Kiehl's flagship on Third Avenue. The good news: It's been replaced by Carroll Gardens soda shop and old-timey general store Brooklyn Farmacy. Kiehl's and its new tenant share an appreciation for the apothecaries of yore—the Farmacy is actually housed in an old drugstore—so this marriage makes perfect sense. Take a shopping break for wintry drinks like hot chocolate or seasonless treats like egg creams, all under $4.
