Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
You might know Pierre Hardy as the French shoe wizard who just opened a leather-floored boutique in the West Village, but since 1989, he's also been creative director of Paris-based bag company Sequoia. Recently, the good people at Sequoia noticed that we're rather obsessed with M. Hardy and offered us three bags to give away to lucky readers. So here's the plan: You send us your best Drunk Shopping itineraries, and we'll award the lovely gold-handled bucket bag above (a $464 value) to our three favorites.
Having put together 43 Drunk Shopping plans this year, we figure it's only fair to offer some tips for newbies. The best ones always begin with a brunch place, wend their way through a few stores, and then wrap up with happy hour. We're not looking for the longest descriptions—just the ones that seem like they'd be most fun.
Email your ideas to email@example.com by 10am this Thursday, December 23rd. We'll notify all three winners on Thursday, then run one winning entry this Friday, one on January 7th, and one on January 14th. (We're closed New Year's Eve.) As always, to be eligible, you must be able to come to the Racked offices on the Bowery in order to pick up your prize.
