Through this Sunday, December 6, Real Simple will be operating a pop-up shop in the epicenter of all things holiday-related: Rockefeller Center. If staring at the enormous tree usually just makes you wonder how many presents you could likely fit under it, here's your chance to fulfill every gift-stacking dream you've ever had.
With nearly 100 different items hand-selected by Real Simple's staff, there are enough candles, kitchen wares and assorted purposeful tchotchkes to be able to cross even your awkward assistant and boy-crazy best friend off your holiday list in just one visit.
The shop is open from 10am—10pm, but in terms of special guests dropping by, the lunch hours are where it's at. Today and tomorrow, there's a holiday dressing seminar from Norma Kamali's Style Director, a recipe demo and signing by Jessica Seinfeld, and a run-down on holiday hair and makeup looks courtesy of Real Simple's beauty director, so you can kill multiple holiday birds—er, turtledoves—with one stone.
If you want supremely honest advice about how to fix your look, though, Tim Gunn will be signing copies of Gunn's Golden Rules this Saturday at 1pm, and would likely be happy to opine.
In addition to all the goodies, Real Simple books will also be 25% off at the shop. After all, you know two of those wrapped in pretty paper totally beats texting your sister a photo of the enormous tree and telling her that's her holiday gift.
