WEST VILLAGE—French shoe label Pierre Hardy posted the mystery image above on its official Facebook page about eight hours ago. What it means: New York City is about to get its first Pierre Hardy store. The boutique opens next Wednesday, December 8, at 30 Jane Street. [Facebook]

TIMES SQUARE—Another one for the pop-up shop map: The History Channel will be opening a store next Monday to promote new episodes of "Pawn Stars" and "American Pickers." In addition to the usual t-shirts and bobble-heads for sale, the shop will also offer the chance to win items from the shows, including Muhammad Ali trading cards and a Civil War drum. [MediaPost]
