What's going on at the Bedford Avenue Salvation Army? A few years ago, there was a rumor that the site might become an Apple Store. Now, Curbed reports that someone has filed a permit to build a two-story retail building on the site. It's still owned by the Salvation Army, though, and the project's architects have worked with Salvo before, so we wouldn't bet on a Williamsburg Cube anytime soon. [Curbed]
