J.Crew told employees today that they found a single bed bug in their 2 Penn office. What's with all the lone bed bug sightings? The Cut has a theory: "Bed bugs are usually in a pack, laying eggs and invading everything you'd never want to have to throw away. But maybe they have more in common with New York's humans than we thought, and are perfectly comfortable being single until they find a place to settle down." Meanwhile, our sister site rounds up further evidence that bed bugs are practicing a divide-and-conquer strategy. [The Cut; Racked National]
